After having such a poor season in 2007/08 which saw us relegated to division two.Gary and i felt it was a good time to rebuild the team.We are very please with the seven new additions to the squad.That meant we had to train twice a week through July and August,trying to get the boys gelling as a team,resulting in the boys having a good preseason,and not a bad start to the season.Work in progress,Blue
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
